Wardrobe 1106. Carpentry.

ASC,2016.

This carpentry micro service was a refurbishment, relatively successful in terms of offering a natural yellow pinewood (material from the US) wardrobe, for the same price as an MDF one.

Years before, the client hired a carpenter for one of her many bedrooms and was not really happy with the loss of space with a new loose, self-standing MDF wardrobe inside the opening.

To achieve affordability despite using good quality mass timber, the design was very simple and avoided unnecessary second skins. So, it was fixed and fit directly —maximizing space— into the existent wardrobe opening, with good painting status. The existent walls are internal only.
